Vision-Box to moderate online innovation roundtable with Portugal Tourism Agency and Startup Lisboa

Marcio Spinola, Chief Product Officer for Vision-Box, will host one of four roundtables during a remote innovation program, on 23 July 2020 hosted by Turismo de Portugal and StartupLisboa. During this 28-hour marathon, guests will learn how Seamless Travel technology is changing the face of the travel and tourism industry by introducing new strategies and pathways to innovation.

The event is being conducted under a new innovation program called Tourism Solutions Now that seeks to find solutions to restart Portugal’s tourism industry. Marcio and his guests will provide insights into how new developments in seamless and touchless identification processes are now key strategies to new health safety guidelines caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The entire webinar series will run for six days and present 28 hours of programming from 22 to 29 July 2020. Its focus will be on business solutions and technologies to aid in the recovery of the country’s tourism sector and how to best prepare it against future crisis since it is such an important part of Portugal’s economy. can incentivize a conversion in the travel and tourism industry to touchless and contactless systems.
